To the Editor: Republican shocked by Latta’s vote on shutdown

I try not to talk politics, but Congressman Latta's "no" vote shocked me. In other words, he wanted to keep the government shut and go to default. That would have added more problems instead of congress actually "working" to fix them. Congress needs to chip away at them as we did not get there overnight. Didn't Del tell his son that when something doesn't work like you think it should you don't take a hammer to it? By the way, I am a proud Republican, just not fond of him right now.
