To the Editor: Put trash in its proper place, and recycle

I think we should keep Bowling Green clean so we could have fresh air.
If we don't throw garbage on the ground our environment won't be destroyed and then we could have beautiful green grass. It would be awesome if the land was covered with green grass and plants.
If you want that try to not throw garbage on the ground and throw garbage in the trash can. You should put plastic in the recycling bin.
That's how to make Bowling Green clean and make the Earth clean.
If you want to try, you can. I am going to try because I want to make Bowling Green clean and I'm going to make the Earth clean.

Nina, I love your ideas and your lovingkindness care for your community. You write so well! I would only suggest that we need less green grass which requires lots of resources like gasoline and water to keep nice and instead we should plant more butterfly gardens, and edible foods, to help families grow their own food and to help our eco-systems. I am so glad you are a young ecologist. Your message made me so happy today. And I hope you have a wonderful holiday break, have fun with your family, and enjoy lots of reading of good books! Namaste, Nina!

I'm afraid this is what is passing for education in this fourth grade class. Not to rain on a flower parade...
