I am encouraged that Congressman Latta supports rail and wants progress "that helps America"!
Not only will investment in our rail infrastructure create jobs in the construction trades and commerce, such investments can also be utilized to develop an educated and mobile workforce for Ohio's bright future.
I would encourage our elected officials and citizens to evaluate the "Ohio Higher Education Rail Network".
The Ohio Higher Education Rail Network is a plan to link all public and private colleges and universities in the state by rail. With historic investments in passenger rail service from the federal level Ohio has the opportunity to provide safe, reliable transportation for students and all of Ohio's citizens.
In one bold move favoring the OHERN plan, Ohio would become the nation's leader in sustainability and unlimited educational opportunities. As Ohio has "So much to Discover" I'd say it's time to discover the "Ohio Higher Education Rail Network."
Let's get on board!
