To the Editor: Memorial Day request

Help the veterans organizations put Memorial Day back to May 30 where it belongs?
Let’s give our veterans the honors that they deserve for giving us the freedoms we now enjoy. Without their great courage our country would not be where it is.

Oh, I could not agree more. Place this day on the 30th and forget an automatic 3-day week-end for each of us. We are to honor our veterans for their unselfish service for America. Maybe the day would be more meaningful (for those who choose to enjoy their freedom) and to think about how it was attained and continues to be. GOD BLESS OUR VETS !
