The discussions about "health care reform" have focused on insurance and largely ignored medical health care.
This is putting the cart before the horse.
We need to find ways to make more effective use of medical personnel like nurse practitioners and create more facilities such as the "urgent care" clinics. While we are talking about insurance for children we must design a system that makes sure they get regular checkups and needed vaccinations.
