On Sept. 18, I was in the ER at the Wood County Hospital with my daughter, who had a chair dropped on her foot at school. The school nurse asked me to pick her up and have her checked out. While in the ER, a man came in right behind us who I wanted to talk to but didn't get the chance.
I don't know your name but, your dad was a physician but has been out of practice for about 12 years, you are in your 50s, you were in the ER because you were helping out a friend cut a tree and the healthy branch you cut in front of you was twisted with a dead one that fell right on your head, about four blocks from the hospital. Boy you sure can hear a lot with just a curtain separating you! I was just wondering how you were doing? That branch must have hit you pretty hard. Making fun of a 10-year-old girl could only be explained by a nasty bump on the head. I assume the kids that were there with you were your own, and I am sure that you are a much better role model for them, so it had to be a bump on the head that would make you act in such a way as to mock a child.
In case you were wondering, yes her toe is broken. She wasn't faking to get out of class, go figure! I hope your recovery is a quick one!
