Bob Latta is so proud of his vote to shut down our government he decided to vote against re-opening the Federal Government. He is so worried about President Obama destroying the GOP party, when in fact the party's leaders are doing a pretty good job of it themselves. Mr. Latta is paranoid and delusional when it comes to the Affordable Care Act. Was this not approved by congress in 2010? This is a law upheld by the Supreme Court. Mr. Latta and the clowns in congress put our country in a hostage stage, so they thought this would make our President look bad. They are not addressing problems, which is that voters don't much care for the policies the GOP espouses. Every radio program/phone meeting that Latta does pertains to this ObamaCare. Get over it Latta and start earning your wages, and start working for us. Also, question for these same congress members did you receive your pay during the time you held our country hostage? Did you get health care coverage during this time? Every bill that Bush presented to you, and you approved them all, and any bill that President Obama send down to Congress you voted down, and you Republicans are saying that our President doesn't want work with this congress.
Latta is so afraid that the tea party won't like him he has neglected our country. Latta supported the following: massive tax cuts benefitting mainly the wealthy, rolling back regulations on risky behavior for Wall Street and banks, slashes to services the middle class depends on, like Medicare, education, and job training. A decade ago, Bill Clinton left a record surplus. But the last administration Bush Jr. put two wars, two huge tax cuts, and the Medicare prescription program on a credit card, and handed President Obama a trillion dollar deficit and a raging economic crisis. You and your members of Congress want to go back to those same, disastrous policies: budget-busting tax cuts for the wealthy and free rein for Wall Street to write its own rules. We tried that formula and it benefitted few, but exploded the deficit, crashed our economy, and devastated the middle class. It didn't grow our economy, create good jobs, or pay down our debt. It did the opposite.
When your term is over Mr. Latta we will remember what you did to our country.
