Wood Countians have prided ourselves on being modest leaders in the green energy revolution. I remember
the pride that we all had when the wind turbines were put on the south side of Bowling Green and we are
all proud that the world’s leading solar power contractor, First Solar, is located in Perrysburg
Township.
Frankly, I am angry that Governor Kasich signed legislation that put a pause in renewable energy
standards. Ohio is the first state to roll back such standards. In today’s competitive environment, if
you’re not moving forward, you are truly moving backwards. I can’t wait till November 4th to vote this
guy out of office!
