St. Aloysius Church is holding an American Red Cross Bloodmobile in the St. Aloysius School gym from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday.
As coordinator of this bloodmobile, I'm asking you to join in the race to fulfill the constant need for blood. If 75 donors (our quota) give blood, the lives of 225 people can be saved because your one pint of blood can save three people.
At the end of this race, you gave the gift that keeps on giving, receive instant gratification and also can enter the Knights of Columbus sponsored drawing of four, $25 Kroger gift certificates.
You don't have to practice to enter this race. You already have the power to give because only you can manufacture blood.
If you're willing to sign up, drink lots of fluids, eat sandwiches and cookies and take 1-2 hours of your time, you can enter the race and start miracles every 56 days.
Remember, you may not be everyone's blood type but you are someone's type of blood. Don't wait until you need your own type of blood.
Bring your family and new donors to the bloodmobile.
To schedule an appointment, please call Mary Lou Szabo - daytime: (419) 354-1250 or evening: (419) 352-4984. Walk-ins are welcome, but appointments are preferred.
