As a result of our Scouting for Food drive, a total of 12,378 items were collected in Bowling Green, Bloomdale, Bradner, Custar, Cygnet, Grand Rapids, Haskins, Jerry City, Luckey, Milton Center, Moline, North Baltimore, Pemberville, Tontogany, Walbridge and Wayne. Items were delivered to 12  food pantries, which serve those communities.
I would like to thank Scouts, crew leaders, committee members, family members for distributing flyers, collecting, counting and sorting the items. Thank you Wood County residents for your generous food donations and helping us fill pantry shelves prior to the holidays.
