Really, this letter should begin with Dear Elmwood Community,
The decision to move from Bowling Green to (near) Wayne was because we (my husband & I) wanted to build a home. While searching for available land we also checked into Elmwood Local Schools. To us, our children's education was more important than finding land to build, but we were fortunate enough to find both. At the time we moved into the district Elmwood had become a new & beautiful campus serving & supporting children from Pre-School through their Senior Year. There was a "fresh start" vibe. The Elmwood community was happy. That was eight years ago! "Time Flies!" It is now time to pass a levy to continue the commitment to our children, the students and the teachers. On Nov. 5,. please get out & vote to pass this levy! Elmwood Local School District Renewal-Income tax; 1/2%; Current expenses; five. years; beginning Jan. 1, 2016. Elmwood Local School District Renewal-Income tax; 3/4%; Current expenses; five years; beginning Jan. 1, 2017. Support your Elmwood Local School District! Thank you!
