On Friday, June 7, 2013, a real "Superman" came to our rescue. We had a new car and it was out of gas! We had stopped at a very bad spot going east and the end of Conneaut Ave. at the stop sign. I had to keep waving and telling the heavy traffic to pass, that we were out of gas. They all passed OK. But, this super nice man and his young wife stayed with us. He got out of his car offering to push us where we had headed and this was our daughter's home a very long way east on Conneaut Ave., across from the school there. Because most people have cell phones today I could not locate him in the phone book. We were so appreciative of this young couple rescuing us in this predicament and seeing to it that we two old people were safely at our destination. I wanted to tell them what heroes they were to us!
I hope someone that reads this note will relay this message as this man was our "Superman" that day and he deserves the credit of our safe arrival at our daughter's home. Can you imagine the strength taken to push by hand all the way east to our destination? And, this was quite a distance. How wonderful to be young and healthy!
So I say a big thank you to this young couple that took the time to help.
