As residents of Bowling Green's Fourth Ward, we were impressed with and grateful for the leadership on Council provided by Greg Robinette. While he had to leave council to serve his country once again, in his 17 months on council, he applied effectively his education and training as an industrial systems engineer, his work as a lawyer, and his capacity to lead as a Colonel in the U.S. Army.
Although in a slightly different vein, we find that candidate Theresa Charters-Gavarone has many similar qualities as Mr. Robinette. She has a degree in business from BGSU, she is a lawyer with a BG law firm and she owns a business (Mr. Spots) with her husband in historic downtown BG. Further, she has been generous with her time as a volunteer for various community groups and the BG schools, for example, the BGHS Drama Club.
As Election Day approaches, we ask the residents of the Fourth Ward to consider the personal strengths and qualities of Theresa Charters-Gavarone. She is well trained to analyze issues, to listen critically and weigh fact, and to be open to new ideas for improving and enhancing the strengths and qualities of our city.
