School Comparison: Bowling Green v. Perrysburg
We all desire that Bowling Green City Schools provide our kids with an education that makes them competitive at top rated universities and in a modern economy. Our children are our future.
Here are some revealing facts concerning how our tax dollars are spent as compared with Perrysburg Schools.
Average Household Income: Bowling Green $45,639; Perrysburg $78,178
Administrative cost per pupil: Bowling Green $1,278; Perrysburg $473.32
Total spent per student: Bowling Green $10,318; Perrysburg $8,581
State Ranking out of 610 districts: Bowling Green 188; Perrysburg 72

As you can see more money is not the answer.
What is needed is management reform and financial accountability. I am voting no until changes are made.
I think we can do better for the sake of the kids.
