Theresa Charters Gavarone is running for 4th ward representative to the Town Council. As an attorney with a business degree from BGSU, she is the candidate best able to increase the tax base and provide more job opportunities for our citizens. Being a small business owner herself and Bowling Green resident for 28 years, she is well suited to convince prospective business people to set up shop in town.
We are in a competitive environment with other cities, who themselves need to grow their economies and seek to attract business. Theresa currently serves on the Downtown Bowling Green Business Development Committee. As a hard working individual with small business experience, she is the candidate best prepared to help Bowling Green successfully compete for jobs.
Theresa wants the town to deliver top-notch services efficiently without imposing a tax increase on citizens. As a mother of three children, who attend Bowling Green city schools, Theresa recognizes the importance that Bowling Green remain a family friendly town. She is committed to fighting crime and illicit drug use and donates her time in youth and community activities.
She clearly has the character, good judgment, and new ideas to make an important contribution as a councilwoman. We need to elect people who listen to all points of view, are open to others, and act with compassion. We need to work together to make Bowing Green the best it can be. Voting for Theresa Charters Gavarone is an important step in the right direction.
