To the Editor: A few thoughts about levies

It is good to hear local educators are receiving a living wage. The usual lament is, "We can't keep good teachers because we don't pay them enough." BG has good teachers and administrators; you get what you pay for.
The "too much" signs are prominent outside rental properties and property managers' buildings. Could it be that some own "too much" property and give thanks for their good fortune by complaining about  the associated taxes?
Seniors, such as myself on fixed incomes, might rethink Christmas and birthdays. Give the family nice cards with an enclosed note.
My gift to you is a future community blessed with good schools, solid values, beautiful parks and a sense of pride.
My gift to you is a yes vote for schools and parks.
