The parade on Nov. 21 was great as usual. Our 10 grandchildren always enjoy all it has to offer. They are always excited as though it was Christmas day itself, and never notice some things. I'm hoping I am not the only one that noticed at least one participant irregularity. Did not anyone else notice what type of vehicle the mayor was leading the parade in? No it wasn't one of our USA top 3. (GM, Ford or Chrysler) I believe it was a nice little Mazda convertible.
As I was leaving the parade I saw one of our veterans...his hat said World War II VETERAN. I can not help but think what must have been going through his mind as he shuffled along.
