I was ringing the bell for the Salvation Army at Wal-Mart recently when a lady came by with three small children. One of them asked, "Mommy, what is that?" She replied, "Oh, that's for Christians." Ma'am, if you're reading this, or if anyone believes that is true, or if you know someone who thinks that, let me assure you that the Salvation Army helps folks in NEED no matter what their belief.
Also, you do not have to be a Christian to give. We humans are the only ones on this home we call Earth that can help other humans. Animals can't, trees won't, TV and computers are incapable. People are the only ones that can help people! So if you can, drop some money in the bucket and be thankful you can help and be doubly thankful if you don't need the help this year.
