Why is it such a big deal with this Portage issue again?
Welcome to the unemployed Officer Bartz. Did the village pay into unemployment? or are you hung out to dry? Now maybe you can feel the pain of trying to pay bills like all those hard working people you have trapped in that speed trap to benefit who? The few people in Portage and I personally think all should be reimbursed.
Ever notice on voting day no one in Portage wants to support an issue that raises their taxes to help its village.
Life goes on and so will the people of Portage. So I think newspapers reporting the "I feel sorry for the village" needs to end and remember all of us and all those truck drivers local and just passing through have paid their way to even be on any map.
Amen it's over.
