I would like to thank the driver of the red truck that stopped on Jerry City Road on Dec. 19th. Thank you for stopping to help my two children after their van came upon an icy stretch of the road, where they hit a telephone pole straight on.
They were only going to the school to retrieve a library book that my 13-year-old daughter accidentally left in her locker. They had not taken a cell phone and our family thanks you from the bottom of our hearts. You not only stopped and called for an ambulance, but stayed until help arrived. I never got your name or thanked you at the accident. The kids are OK and our daughter had surgery on her jaw. Her jaw was broken in three places, and she is recovering well. We just wanted you to know, and to thank you. We thank God you were there to help them. You are truly a wonderful person.
