It all started when I took my granddaughter to the tree lighting at the library. Imagine our disappointment when the tree lights came on. The lights looked like someone had just thrown them on. There was no festive color and the tree just looked very sad. And then the town was decorated. The first evening I drove into town I couldn't believe what I saw. Lights not even half way up the trees along the main street. Is there any reason why our community looks so tacky? I'm glad I have no out-of-town guests coming for the holidays. What an embarrassment.
