To the Editor: BG resident has some 'holiday' issues

Let's get vanilla!  It's a holiday parade.  Which holiday?  Gee, I don't know.  And even if I did, I wouldn't divulge.  I might offend someone.
Speaking of offense, have you noticed many national retailers are getting the message as well?  They were open for business last Thursday!   Time is money.  And there was money to be made.
No sense to close our establishments or operate with an abbreviated crew.  The consumer may read this as not being in tuned to their wishes.  Eventually holidays may have to go the way of the Edsel.  After all, the stockholders are consumers, too!
