To the Editor: Better care is needed

It is way past time for health care reform. It is “broke,” therefore we must fix it. There are too many uninsured and too many where costs have risen beyond their means. A public option would help those who need something more feasible than they already have. Seniors not so fortunate to have a good retirement health care program also need choices and help with prescriptions so their lives can be extended in a healthful way.
It will also be important to include more programs for preventative medicine and tests so the costs of unnecessary illness will not add to the overall costs of health care. We all need to get on board for better health care for all. Please get accurate information before you protest health care reform.
