COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — A semitrailer driver has beenconvicted of misdemeanor vehicular manslaughter
in a central Ohio crashearlier this year that killed two people.The Columbus Dispatch (http://on.wkyc.com/1cnnvcR ) that 42-year-old Tony
D. Smith could be jailed for up to 90 days for each conviction when he is sentenced Jan. 23.Smith pleaded no
contest to the charges Wednesday in a Columbus courtroom.Authoritiessaid the crash happened May 8 when Smith
failed to notice slowingtraffic. Smith’s truck clipped a Jeep and hit two cars and a secondsemi,
investigators said. The impact sent the second truck into a thirdcar.Killed in the crash were 71-year-old
Diana Schwab ofBeavercreek, near Dayton, and 48-year-old Robin Jones of London, west
