Tree falls on Michigan bus; five kids get minor injuries

PALMYRA TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) — Authorities say five children had minor injuries after a tree fell on a school bus in Michigan.

The Blade of Toledo reports (http://bit.ly/U0xMA2 ) the bus was hit Thursday morning in Lenawee County's Palmyra Township, near the Ohio border about 55 miles southwest of Detroit.

Names and ages of those involved weren't released. The sheriff's department described the injuries as "very minor."
