Tips on missing Indiana U. student still come in

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (AP) — Police investigating the
disappearance of a 20-year-old Indiana University student say
investigators continue to receive tips in the case three years later.
The
Bloomington Police Department say the most recent tip about Lauren
Spierer (SPEER’-ur) came in Thursday. It said Monday it has received 282
tips about her in the past year alone. It says investigators "remain
hopeful that someone with knowledge of the circumstances surrounding
Lauren’s disappearance will do the right thing by stepping up and
contacting our agency."
The Greenburgh, New York, native,
disappeared early on June 3, 2011, after a night of partying with
friends in Bloomington. No criminal charges have ever been filed in the
disappearance
