CINCINNATI (AP) — Election officials say a nun in southwest Ohio is suspected of illegally casting a ballot for another nun who had died before last November's election.

The Cincinnati Enquirer (http://cin.ci/VLG2dG ) reports a ballot in the name of a nun who died in October was returned to the Hamilton County Board of Elections in Cincinnati. A board member says an investigation showed it may have been cast by another nun. No charges have been filed.

The newspaper didn't name the nun suspected of casting the ballot but said she apparently cast her own ballot on Election Day.

The board is examining allegations of voter fraud in the election. Some cases have been dismissed because double votes stemmed from voters' confusion or concern that their absentee ballots wouldn't reach the board in time.
