NORWOOD, Ohio (AP) — As many as 1,000 volunteers from a young professionals organization are expected to help paint nearly three dozen homes in the southwest Ohio city of Norwood.
The event Saturday is a program of Give Back Cincinnati, a nonprofit group that promotes helping communities through volunteerism.
Volunteers in Norwood will paint owner-occupied homes there for people who are physically or financially unable to do the work on their own.
The group says in a statement that local companies sponsor, providing both money and staffing for the program.
