BELLEFONTAINE, Ohio (AP) — A 49-year-old Ohio woman has pleaded guilty in the hit-and-run death of a 15-year-old boy who went missing before his body was found in a roadside ditch last fall.

Police say Cathy Humphries was drunk and had marijuana in her system when she hit 15-year-old Austin Houser as he walked along a road Oct. 25 in the village of Rushsylvania, about 60 miles northwest of Columbus.

The Columbus Dispatch (http://bit.ly/15hAJWD ) reports that Humphries pleaded guilty Monday to drunken driving and failure to stop at a crash scene.

Humphries told her family that she had been in a crash but thought she'd hit a mailbox.

Prosecutors said her blood alcohol level was more than three times the legal limit. Sentencing is scheduled for May 20.
