EAST CLEVELAND, Ohio (AP) — Police say a 2-year-old
northeast Ohio boy was roughhousing with his 3-year-old brother just
before he crashed through a 17-story window and fell to his death.
On
Tuesday the Cuyahoga County coroner ruled Alijah R.
Glenn’s death an accident. The report said the boy crashed through the
bottom of a 7-foot floor-to-ceiling window Monday at an apartment
building in East Cleveland.
The coroner said the toddler died from skeletal and internal injuries.
The Northeast Ohio Media Group (http://bit.ly/1b2mmUw ) reports that the boys’
grandmother said the two were playing before
the accident. She went into a bedroom to talk on the phone when she
heard glass breaking and the boys’ mother screaming.
The building manager said he’s unsure if the company was planning to make any changes to the windows.
