FAIRFIELD, Ohio (AP) — The Ohio Lottery says a ticket worth $1 million in the latest drawing for the Mega Millions game was sold at a grocery store in southwest Ohio.
Lottery officials say the auto-pick ticket sold at Jungle Jim's Market Inc. in Fairfield matched five numbers in the multistate game in Tuesday's drawing. The "Megaplier" number was four, quadrupling the ticketholder's prize to $1 million.
No ticket matched all five numbers plus the Mega Ball for a jackpot estimated at $36 million. The top prize rises to an estimated $43 million for the next drawing, on Friday.
The winning numbers for the Tuesday drawing were two, 31, 32, 37 and 41, with a Mega Ball of 40.
