COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — The Ohio State Fair has broken a single-day attendance record.

Fair officials say the 115,288 people who visited the event in Columbus on Sunday broke a record set on Aug. 13, 2006. The crowd that day was 110,234.

Nearly 350,000 have visited this year's fair from its opening Wednesday through Sunday. Officials say good weather and cooler than normal temperatures have helped boost the crowds.

The fair continues through Sunday.
