COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — A central Ohio school bus driver whoauthorities say was driving her route
with an open bottle of CanadianMist whiskey has pleaded guilty to drunken driving.The Columbus Dispatch

Tia Denton pleaded guilty Monday to misdemeanor charges of drunken driving and endangering children.Acharge
of having an open container was dropped. Denton declined tocomment after the hearing in Columbus. Her
attorney said she would enteran alcohol treatment program.She could face up to six months in prison when
she’s sentenced Feb. 4.Dentonworked for a transportation company contracted by the Columbus schooldistrict.
She was stopped while driving erratically with two elementaryschool students aboard in November. Her blood
