COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — Police say a 61-year-old tractor-trailer driver has been killed after a crash with a car on northbound Interstate 71 in Columbus.

Columbus police say the semi and a Mustang were both heading north when they hit, and the semi ran off the right side of the highway and into a guardrail and concrete sound barrier. The accident was at 6:14 a.m. EST near Gemini Place.

Police say Daniel Eisnaugle of Newark, Ohio, was dead at the scene. The Mustang driver was treated at the scene for a minor injury.

Police were still investigating the accident, which caused northbound lanes to close for hours Saturday. Traffic was reportedly moving very slowly through the area Saturday afternoon.
