FAIRFIELD, Ohio (AP) — Authorities in southwest Ohio say
they are investigating the death of a four-week-old baby after a 911
caller reported that the infant girl was not breathing.
The
Fairfield Police Department says firefighters and police officers found
the baby, Aubrey Reader, deceased after they responded to the call on
Sunday morning.
The Butler County Coroner’s Office conducted an autopsy on Monday.
Police say the case remains under investigation, pending the coroner’s determination of the cause of
death.
No other details were immediately available.
