CINCINNATI (AP) — A southwest Ohio mother has been charged with driving at 95 mph while intoxicated with four children in her car.

Cincinnati police say 40-year-old Kami Rice of Golf Manor was arrested early Friday on charges of child endangering, driving while intoxicated and having an open container — a 24-ounce can of Natural Ice beer.

Police say she was pulled over just after midnight while northbound on Interstate 71. Court records show the children range in age from 6 to 14.

She faced an initial court appearance Friday. No attorney was listed for her.
