SPRINGFIELD, Ohio (AP) — Authorities say a 68-year-old Springfield man has been killed after being crushed by corn in a grain silo.

The body of Warren Mumma was removed from the bottom of a silo shortly after 4 p.m. Tuesday. Officials say Mumma had entered the silo and the corn apparently collapsed on him.

The Clark County Sheriff's Office and the Clark County coroners office are investigating.
