Ohio man gets prison for using hidden cameras

CLEVELAND (AP) — A 60-year-old northeastern Ohio man has been sentenced to 17 years in prison for secretly recording nude images of two women and a teenage girl using hidden cameras.

Allen Warner apologized to the victims during the Tuesday sentencing hearing in Cleveland, but told the judge he had no clue he was doing anything illegal at the time.

Warner was arrested last fall after what prosecutors said was six years of spying on and recording his victims. He pleaded guilty to the voyeurism and pornography charges in May.

His attorney said Warner suffers from complex mental and sexual disorders that caused him to lose touch with reality.

The (Cleveland) Plain Dealer reports that prosecutors presented images in court of Warner placing hidden pinhole cameras in bedrooms and hotel rooms.
