COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — A judge in central Ohio has sentenced a 19-year-old man to 16 years in prison for shooting into a crowd during a street brawl and wounding two young boys.

The sentencing in Columbus came after Dremahl Anthony pleaded guilty Monday to two counts of felonious assault and using a gun during the crimes. The sentence was recommended by both sides as part of the plea bargain.

The Columbus Dispatch (http://bit.ly/17hpsn4) reports that Anthony pulled a gun and fired several shots during the brawl on the city's south side in April 2010. A 3-year-old boy was shot in the right thigh, and a 13-year-old boy in the left leg. Both have recovered.

Anthony apologized in court Monday, although the victims were not present.
