HOOD RIVER, Ore. (AP) — Authorities have identified the man who died after jumping off Punchbowl Falls in the Columbia River Gorge as a man from Cincinnati.

Sheriff Matt English of Hood River County says 25-year-old Jason Endicott was among a group of five people who hiked to the top of the falls late Sunday afternoon.

Four of the five jumped into the chilly water. The three who survived the jump have not been identified; one of them was treated for hypothermia.

The Oregonian reports (http://is.gd/YZ3W3O ) that divers resumed the search for Endicott's body on Monday.

English told the paper it could be a complicated and dangerous recovery.
