COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — The Ohio State Highway Patrol has issued an Amber Alert in the case of a missing 4-year-old boy reportedly taken from a Columbus neighborhood by an armed man.
The patrol said the man "showed a weapon and is believed to be armed." The alert did not say if the man knew the child, who was taken Tuesday night.
The child was identified as Andrian Johnson, a black male who's about 3 feet tall and 40 pounds. He was last seen on Ellsworth Avenue in Columbus.
The patrol said Wednesday that the suspect being sought is Anton Jones. He is believed to be driving a four-door 2000 Cadillac DeVille with Ohio license FDL7217.
