Ohio gas prices down to start work week

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio motorists are seeing lower gas prices to start the work week.
The state average for a gallon of regular gas was $2.21 in Monday’s survey from auto club AAA, the Oil
Price Information Service and WEX Inc. That’s 12 cents less than a week ago and $1.45 cheaper than last
year at this time.
Ohio prices were well below the national average, which was $2.42 per gallon Monday. That’s down 3 cents
from last week and $1.10 less than a year ago.
After gas prices steadily increased in February and at the beginning of the month, analysts expect prices
will continue to fall the rest of March and April.
