CINCINNATI (AP) — Authorities are renewing their plea for help in the unsolved murder of a young family in the Cincinnati area nearly 50 years ago.

Jerry and Linda Bricca and their 4-year-old daughter Debbie were found stabbed to death in their suburban Cincinnati home on Sept. 27, 1966.

The bodies were found after neighbors saw newspapers piling up and garbage cans being left on the curb of the family's Green Township home.

Police say that 26-year-old Jerry and 23-year-old Linda had been bound at some point but that whatever material was used had been removed from their bodies. Gerald Bricca also had a sock stuffed in his mouth with a piece of medical tape.

Jerry was a chemical engineer, Linda a former flight attendant.

Anyone with information is asked to call 513-825-1500.
