Ohio amusement park uses new coaster as fundraiser

MASON, Ohio (AP) — Kings Island amusement park in southwestOhio says the first night rides on its
newest roller coaster will go topeople who raise money for a designated children’s charity.Thepark in Mason
says the "Banshee" will be the world’s longest invertedroller coaster when it opens in April. The
$24 million project will takeriders through 4,124 feet of track and seven inversions at speeds of upto 68
miles per hour.Kings Island says fans wanting to be amongthe first night riders can sign up on its website
for the fundraiser andmust collect at least $100 each for a nonprofit organization called AKid Again. The
group supports children with life-threatening illnesses.Participating fundraisers get access to ride the
