Officials: Jet skier rescues three from Lake Michigan

PARK TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) — Officials say a jet skier is being credited for rescuing three girls who fell off a raft in Lake Michigan.

MLive.com reports (http://bit.ly/19QqZ52 ) that Ottawa County Central Dispatch says crews from were called to a public beach in Park Township on Monday evening following a report of three girls on a raft out in the water who had been signaling for help.

The girls were said to be about a quarter-mile from the West Michigan beach when they fell off. A jet skier reportedly brought them to shore.

Information on the condition of the girls and their ages wasn't immediately available.
