HOWELL TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) — Police are seeking tips from the public after about $230,000 worth of jewelry was stolen during a break-in at a Michigan store.

WHMI-FM and the Livingston County Daily Press & Argus of Howell report pendants, rings, earrings and precious stones were taken this month from the Ultra Diamond Store. It's located at Tanger Outlet Center in Howell Township, about 45 miles northwest of Detroit.

Authorities responded to a burglary alarm and found the front door broken out and a number of glass display cases smashed.

Police announced details of the break-in on Monday. In December, the same store was targeted and about $80,000 in jewelry was stolen.
