COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — Ohio Gov. John Kasich (KAY'-sik) has taken his message on Ohio's economic comeback to the world stage.

The Republican governor was among political, business and other leaders from around the globe participating in the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. He was appearing in separate sessions Thursday and Friday.

In presentations, media interviews and private business meetings, Kasich shared the story of Ohio's improved budget and employment picture during the two years he's been governor.

Kasich repeated the themes he conveyed at last year's Republican National Convention and often highlights at his Ohio appearances. They include dovetailing educational offerings with available jobs and reducing government red tape.

A Kasich spokesman said the governor also is marketing Ohio to leaders in the advanced manufacturing, transportation, chemical and oil and gas industries.
