MARBLEHEAD, Ohio (AP) — Authorities say one person has died in a house fire in a Lake Erie village north of Sandusky.

The Sandusky Register (http://bit.ly/1bOh0vZ ) reports that firefighters fought the blaze Sunday night in Marblehead, a village on the Marblehead Peninsula in Ottawa County.

Little information was released about the victim, and the cause of the fire was still being investigated.

Firefighters were called to the home at about 6 p.m. Sunday, and they found the body inside after putting out the blaze.

Officials from the Ottawa County coroner's office and the state fire marshal's office were called to the scene.
