OREGON, Ohio (AP) — Authorities say at least 10 horses and other animals were killed in an overnight barn fire at an equestrian center in northwest Ohio.

Authorities say the fire at Vail Meadows Equestrian Center in Oregon was reported at about 3:30 a.m. Thursday. In addition to the horses, several goats and pigs also were killed.

The house at the address was not damaged, and there were no injuries reported.

The website for the Vail Meadows Equestrian Center says it's situated on 25 acres and offers horseback riding as therapy to people with disabilities, as well as services to able-bodied riders.
