BEDFORD HEIGHTS, Ohio (AP) — A suburban Cleveland municipal
judge indicted last year on bribery and prostitution-related charges is
facing new charges of tampering with evidence and records in the case.
The
Cuyahoga County Prosecutor’s Office announced the new
grand jury indictment Tuesday adding charges against Bedford Municipal
Court Judge Harry Jacob III.
The charges include two counts of
tampering with evidence, one count of tampering with records, one count
of possessing criminal tools and one misdemeanor count of failure to
report a felony.
In December, Jacob was charged with six
misdemeanor counts of soliciting sex from three women. He is also
charged with bribery, and three counts of promoting prostitution, which
are felonies.
One of his attorneys declined to comment on the new charges.
